Description:

The manual elevator bed system is designed for camper van builds where interior space is limited. The bed can be raised during the day to open up the living area, then lowered and extended into a 77" x 55" sleeping surface at night.

A fully mechanical lift mechanism allows the bed to be operated manually or driven with a standard power tool. The mechanism uses an M10 drive bolt and can be operated with a socket wrench or a compatible power tool with a socket attachment. For normal use, a power tool is recommended and can raise or lower the bed in seconds. Manual operation is also available as a backup when needed, although raising or lowering the bed by hand takes considerably longer.

With no motors, wiring, control modules, switches, or other electrical components, the lift system simplifies installation and reduces potential points of failure, improving reliability for camping, extended travel, and remote use.

When retracted, the sleeping platform measures 63" x 55" to preserve interior space and manually extends to 77" x 55" when needed. A 2" bifold mattress is included and folds with the platform when the bed is retracted.

Constructed from powder coated aluminum, the frame uses a low profile 3.1" (80 mm) structure to help preserve interior headroom. The system is suitable for Sprinter, Transit, and other van platforms when installed with proper structural support.

Installation:

Installation follows the same process as the electric elevator bed, with the wiring steps omitted. Please refer to the installation video for the complete mounting process.

Notes:

• Power tool is not included though any standard impact driver can be used, including common brands such as Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, and similar models.
• The mounting brackets must be installed level from side to side.
• Uneven mounting can cause the bed to tilt during travel and place excessive strain on the lifting system, frame, and mounting points.
• The hanging belts are designed to support the bed frame only. They are not designed to support the weight of sleepers.
• The bed must be lowered onto a secondary support platform, such as cabinets or structural supports, before being used for sleeping.
• For safety reasons, we do not recommend having someone sleep below the elevator bed.
