Description:
This bundle is designed for Sprinter 2007+ 170" High Roof builds that need a secure, flexible mounting base for modern van conversion and overland setups.
The Heavy Duty Roof Rail Kit uses a high strength aluminum extrusion that bolts into the factory roof mounting points without drilling. Once installed, the rails provide a rigid, weather resistant foundation that ties directly into the van’s structure and serves as the interface for the modular roof rack.
The Modular Roof Rack then mounts to these rails using the supplied hardware. High pressure molded aluminum side profiles with double thick corners run the length of the roof to provide excellent rigidity. Crossbars can be repositioned to clear solar panels, vents, A/C units, and cargo, allowing the rack layout to be adapted as your build evolves.
The aerodynamic front fairing and engineered gap between the fairing and the van body help smooth airflow at speed while promoting airflow beneath solar panels when parked. Laser cut sidewalls further reduce weight and assist with cooling around rooftop components.
Together, the roof rails and modular rack form a unified system that supports solar, decking, awnings, and other rooftop accessories used in demanding van conversions and overland travel—packaged as a single bundle with simplified installation and a built in $100 savings.
